Growing up I always dreamed of being a mother. Today I am lucky enough to be called mom to three energetic boys that keep me busy and definitely on my toes. Being a mom is truly the most rewarding job I could have ever asked for and something I love more than words could ever express.

I have always loved photography for as long as I can remember. Something that started as a hobby turned into a dream to someday own my own business. After becoming a mom I decided it was time to pursue my dream. I started my photography business in 2011 on a whim as nearly a hobby and what I thought would always be “just a dream”. However my dream has turned into Maura Jacobson photography. Watching my business grow and flourish over the years has truly been rewarding and something I never thought possible.

I am an on location natural light photographer that loves to find fun new locations to create the next amazing image for my beautiful clients. I capture both posed and those wonderful candid moments that sometimes make for the most amazing and cherished photos. I love my job and consider myself truly lucky to be able to capture these moments for new and returning clients.
